Streptavidin SilaMag™ Magnetic Nanoparticles

Our High Capacity Streptavidin Functionalized Magnetic Nanoparticles (Streptavidin SilaMag NanoBeads) are engineered with an average particle size of 400 nm for the rapid and specific isolation of biotinylated molecules. Manufactured via a modified Stöber process by the hydrolysis of orthosilicates followed by covalent streptavidin coupling, our proprietary functionalization procedure ensures that the biotin-binding activity of the immobilized streptavidin is optimally preserved.
